Removing roots and fixing root entry are separate scopes

Light root growth at one joint differs from a dense mass extending through several sections. Mechanical cutters or controlled jetting may restore flow, but cameras and locating are often needed to document the crack, opening, or failed joint that allowed roots inside.

  • Number and density of root intrusions
  • Pipe material and structural condition
  • Access point and distance to the roots
  • Camera, locating, and debris removal

Include the cost of preventing the next backup

A cleaning-only estimate may be appropriate as an immediate step, but roots can return through an unrepaired opening. Compare ongoing maintenance with spot repair, lining, or replacement when the underlying defect is confirmed.
