Urgency and blockage severity affect the visit
Evening, weekend, or holiday response may carry different rates. A reachable cleanout and removable obstruction are different from a buried access point, long run, root mass, grease blockage, or suspected collapse.
- Time and day of service
- Cable machine, jetter, or other equipment
- Length and location of the obstruction
- Additional technicians or access work
Separate flow restoration from the complete recovery
Opening the line may not include a camera inspection, pipe repair, contaminated-material cleanup, drying, or interior restoration. Ask for each phase to be identified so the emergency charge is not mistaken for the total cost of resolving the cause and resulting damage.
